Michael Jackson The Memorial

It was estimated around 8 billion people worldwide followed Michael Jackson The Memorial and I'm proud to be one of them. I stayed up to watch the memorial. I watched it through CNN Live as I know, Channel 5 wouldn't provide us with live telecast.

So there I was, alone in the living room. Speeches, tributes and songs. Speeches. I was touched by it. Well, there was one time when 2 black man took the stage to give a speech. I knew one of them, Kobe Bryant but the other man, I recognised him but I couldn't recall. And then when he told us about how Michael wanted him in the video "Remember The Time", that was when I remembered him. He acted as one of the guard who used this big thing called the "gong" or something. Haha.

And then there was Brooke Shields. She couldn't control her emotions. It was one of the saddest speech I've ever heard. She was a very close friend of Michael. And she told us about how Michael loves to laugh, loves being tease and loves to sneak around and have fun. But there was one part that was funny. When Michael started wearing the gloves, Brooke asked "What's with the gloves?" Lol. Sighs...

There were songs from his singles and Jackson 5 being sung. I'll be there, Human Nature - It was a guitar solo, Will you be there - I've put this one up as my blog song before, We are the world, Smile - Charlie Chaplin song sang by Jermain Jackson and Heal the world. The song heal the world was the closing song for the memorial. All his relatives were up on stage singing to this song. But I was disappointed by the lead singer. A woman who couldn't even sing and I couldnt even see her expression. I wonder why the hell they chose this woman.

And then after the song, the Jackson family remained on stage. Speeches made by his 2 brothers. It was very emotional. I didn't wanna cry but I did. Im sure the 8 billion people who watched this would at least shed a tear. And the most... most... heartbreaking part was when Michael's daughter, Paris, made a short but made a big impact on everyone especially me when she said "Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. I just wanted to say I love him so much." She was in between tears when she said this. And then Janet was there to comfort her. It was very sad.

Oh, Michael is a Muslim. But some people are just idiots they keep on saying things about Jesus Christ. Don't mind me I love Jesus as my prophet but Michael is a Muslim. Whatever it is, I hope Allah accepts him and bless him. Amin.

To those who haven't watch, please do.

Goodbye Michael Joseph Jackson :( I love you.
